1. Profiles, Engine Swapping & DB Backups
The Dashboard runs entirely offline in your browser. Every profile maintains its own isolated Session History, Track Records, and Saved Maps.
- Global Engine Selector: Pinned to the top header. You can hot-swap between engine classes (e.g., Mini Max 115, 117, 118 baselines) to instantly recalculate your jetting and target lap times.
- JSON Database Backup: Click ✏️ Edit/Backup next to your profile. Use the 💾 Export DB button at the bottom of the modal to safely download all your telemetry, notes, and profiles to a `.json` file. Use 📂 Import DB to restore it if you clear your browser cache or switch laptops.
2. Global Weather & Trend Tracking
- Advanced RAD (Relative Air Density): Automatically incorporates atmospheric pressure, temperature, AND humidity (Vapor Pressure) to determine true engine air density. < 100% means the air is thin (lean out). > 100% means the air is dense (richen up).
- Atmospheric Trend Tracker: Once you enter your weather data, a small `Δ` (Delta) badge will appear below the RAD percentage. This tracks whether the air is gaining or losing density since your last check, helping you anticipate jetting changes before the finals.
3. Theoretical Speed & Drivetrain Slip
The Slip tab compares your engine's theoretical top speed (calculated via max RPM, sprocket sizes, and tire circumference) against your actual GPS top speed.
- How to use this to your advantage: A highly efficient kart will have a tiny amount of natural slip (around 1-2.5%). However, if your slip percentage reads 5% or higher, your engine is revving high but the power isn't transferring to the track.
- The Fix: High slip instantly diagnoses hidden mechanical drag that is stealing your top speed. It tells you to check for a burnt/slipping clutch, a chain that is tensioned too tightly, dragging brake pads, or a binding rear axle. This prevents you from chasing carburetor jetting changes when the real issue is just friction!
4. Scales & Class Ballast Calculator
Found at the bottom of the Setup tab, this tool helps you perfectly balance the kart and hit your minimum weight requirements.
- Cross Weight & Bias: Enter your 4-corner scale weights to automatically calculate Front, Left, and Cross-weight percentages to ensure the chassis turns identically in both directions.
- Ballast Output (The Advantage): Enter your championship minimum weight in the Class Min (kg) box (e.g., 118 kg for Mini Max). The dashboard instantly calculates the difference and tells you exactly how much lead ballast you need to bolt to the seat to pass post-race scrutineering, or if you are running overweight and need to strip parts.
5. Tires & Laser Pyrometer Matrix
- Dynamic Stagger Algorithm: Based on the track direction (CW vs. CCW), the simulator drops the baseline pressure of the heavily loaded outside tires (e.g., -0.5 PSI) to prevent mid-race blistering.
- Laser-Optimized Pyrometer: Enter your Inner, Mid, and Outer tire temperatures. The diagnostic algorithm uses a tightened 3.5°C threshold optimized specifically for Laser Temperature Guns (which read surface temps that cool rapidly) to instantly diagnose camber and toe geometry flaws.
6. Rotax Jetting & Troubleshooting Wizard
- Smart Jetting: Calculates the perfect main jet, air screw, and clip setting based on live RAD physics and specific Circuit Layout offsets (e.g., adding fuel for long WOT straights at Silverstone or Shenington).
- Troubleshooting Wizard (Tab 9): A 100% offline diagnostic decision tree. If the kart is handling poorly, select a category (Entry, Exit, Engine, Tires, Wet) and click your symptom to receive a prioritized, step-by-step mechanical action plan.
7. Strategy Map (High-DPI)
- Precision Drawing: The strategy map canvas automatically scales to your laptop's display resolution. This guarantees your dry/wet lines and apex markers track perfectly under your mouse or stylus.
- Export for Debriefs: Draw out your overtaking strategies and click "Save Image" to export a clean PNG for the driver.
8. Telemetry Parsing & EGT
- Universal CSV Dropzone: Drag and drop AiM MyChron or Alfano `.csv` files into the box. The robust parser aggressively scans the headers to extract Lap Times, RPM, GPS Speed, Water Temp, and Exhaust Gas Temp (EGT).
9. AI Setup Comparison & Hybrid Generator
In the History tab, tick any two sessions and click "⚖️ Compare (2)" to view an advanced side-by-side analysis.
- Automated Evaluation: The dashboard scores your setup progression out of 100 by analyzing Pace (Lap Time), Corner Exit Speed (Min RPM), and Thermal Efficiency (Water Temp / EGT window).
- Hybrid Setup Generator: The tool extracts the strongest traits from both runs to generate a "Frankenstein" setup for your next heat (e.g., matching the jetting from the session with perfect EGTs to the needle clip from the session with the highest corner exit speed).
10. Master Setup Sheet & A4 Printing
- Compact View: Clicking "View & Print Master Setup" at the top of the dashboard pulls every live setting (Tires, Engine, Chassis, Ballast) into a single 3-column pre-flight checklist.
- Trackside Printing: The 🖨️ Print Document button uses a dedicated `@media print` stylesheet. It strips away the dark-mode interface and perfectly formats the 3-column layout onto crisp, high-contrast white A4 paper for your physical clipboard on the dummy grid.
